1.0 OVERVIEW Senior Marketing Specialist oversees marketing, content creation, branding, communications, events, and sales support for the company’s life sciences group. 2.0 DESCRIPTION Work in conjunction with the Marketing Lead and Sales team to execute marketing strategyHelp ensure success for trade show / conference marketing, including event logistics, promotional items and giveaways and Return on Investment (ROI) trackingCo-ordinate and manage production of promotional events, including; conception, venue selection, negotiation, promotion, branding, execution and follow upOwn the digital marketing process, from analyzing current stats, looking at areas for improvement and creating innovative digital marketing campaignsReview current direct mail strategy used by the company and look for areas of potential improvement and implement these with an end goal of creating a quantifiable upturn in sales figures. This will also include the creation and execution of print campaignsThe primary liaison between the sales team and marketing department for requests, needs and ideasProofread communications materials, online content and all client-facing communicationsAssist Marketing and Communications staff in daily activities as neededDevise content strategy, and write, copy and manage creation and release process for digital and print collateral, including solution briefs, case studies, brochures, web content and sales slidesCreate infographics, charts, display advertisements, social content, and other visual assets in conjunction with graphic design teamWork directly with sales teams to plan and execute marketing strategies that are tailored to the specific trends and targetsGenerate leads and demand in conjunction with TransPerfect’s digital marketing team through digital advertising, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) / Search Engine Optimization (SEO), account-based marketing and thought leadershipTravel (10-15%) to coordinate local and regional events, including client learning events and social gatheringsOversee localization of divisional materials into multiple languagesComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager / supervisor 3.0 REQUIRED SKILLS Strong creative instincts with the ability to distil complex concepts into simple, user-friendly, visually effective ideasExceptional written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to manage large and fluctuating workloads while maintaining agreed service levels and meeting deadlines 4.0 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, with a preference for Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fieldMinimum 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, with a preference for content marketing and project management 5.0 DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role with a focus on digital strategy / execution
