The role will also involve team management of a number of marketing executives.The successful Senior Events Marketing Manager will help to plan, organise and execute innovative marketing campaigns primarily across a portfolio of award winning conferences.Supported by the Head of Marketing the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of exceptional global marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, you will manage your team ensuring they are delivering successful campaigns.The ideal candidate will have brilliant attention to detail, be highly creative and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple projects to a high standard.Key Responsibilities: Senior Events Marketing ManagerPlanning and delivering cross-channel digital marketing campaigns with support from the Head of Marketing in line with the event or project objectives.Assisting with the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials relating to the portfolioWriting and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails and brochuresMaintaining and updating conference websitesManagement of a teamUsing digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the businessManaging and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing a data build planContinuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performanceKey Knowledge & Skills Required:5 years + in b2b conferencesSome team leadership experience/managementSolid understanding of the events and digital media landscapeAn interest in telecommunications would be greatProven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independentlyStrong experience in areas including insight development and audience segmentationLiterate and numerate with exemplary verbal and written EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office programmesExperience using a CRM system such as Pardot or SalesforceExperience using a website CMSExcellent knowledge of best practice across email, social media, paid media, landing pages & websitesIn depth knowledge of marketing performance metricsExcellent ability to strategically interpret data trends and gaps, providing analysis & recommendationsLipton Media is a specialist media recruitment agency based in London.
