Senior Marine Engineer

A Senior Marine Engineer is required to join a leading marine defence organisation designing the next generation of nuclear submarines.
As a Senior Marine Engineer you will be working directly with the Design Manager providing input and influencing the design of: systems, equipments, material selection and layout decisions.
As a Senior Marine Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Youll act as the first point of contact for the design team for through life queries.
Youll support systems and equipment level supportability analysis
Youll pass legislation of supportability guidance documents capturing and recording: LfE, Assumptions, Threats, Opportunities, and mitigations.
As a Senior Marine Engineer, you must have experience in the following:
You must have previous experience of the specification, planning and delivery of submarine maintenance in a waterfront setting.
You must also have previous hands on mechanical experience with whole ship system awareness.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex navy operator to play a key role in the design of the next generation of nuclear submarines.
This role is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite in either Devon, Bristol, Clyde or Barrow.
