Senior Manufacturing Manager

Your Duties As Senior Manufacturing Manager Will Include

• Managing and providing leadership and co-ordination of the  manufacturing, purchasing and installation teams..
• Driving operational excellence through effective methodologies, systems, and processes.
• Smoothly and cost-effectively implementing new product introductions (NPI).
• Encouraging the use of MRP systems, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
• Creating and executing continuous improvement plans for operational performance.
• Leading initiatives to improve quality and manufacturing.
• Ensuring a profitable, highly effective manufacturing site with exceptional product quality.
• Promoting cultural and business alignment within the company.
• Collaborating closely with senior management and producing reports on company operations and performance.
• Overseeing Health and Safety on the site.

You’ll take ownership of manufacturing operations across multiple sites, leading around 20 direct staff. You’ll provide leadership for diverse, high-tech product ranges, utilizing various manufacturing techniques including production lines, assembly, sub-assembly, and some chemical processes.

Analysing production lines using modern techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban), you’ll implement changes to optimize performance. Commercially astute, you’ll focus on delivering manufacturing improvements in a technically focused manufacturing business with medium to high value products.
