Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Manufacturing engineer, you will join the Derby team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Looking at old drawings to help suppliers with manufacturing issues.
Working as a team to optimize manufacturing processes across production.
Taking part in project management activities.
Liaising with several stakeholders, taking part in strategic meetings, and coordinating action plans.
Management and resolution of Material Availability/Alternative Materials.
Qualifications
Experience, skills, and qualifications required:
YOE 5+ preference with an Aerospace background.
Prior experience in a leadership role.
Experience of precision parts is beneficial e.g., casting, forging, CNC milling, Laser cutting, Team Centre.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
Degree in a relevant engineering field.
