As part of our esteemed engineering team, you will work across various manufacturing disciplines to introduce new capabilities into our business operations.Main Duties of this Senior Manufacturing Engineer role:Develop and implement manufacturing controls for machining processes, focusing on specific features like aerofoils and turned parts.Provide NC programs, fixtures, and process instructions within set timelines and budgets.Interpret technical requirements from various sources including 3D models and engineering drawings.Identify and rectify potential sources of non-conformance through risk mitigation and quality training.Incorporate advanced quality planning principles into all stages of product development.Ensure meticulous attention to detail and effective change control throughout the development process.Conduct trials and programs to enhance manufacturing capabilities.Validate tools, fixtures, surfaces, and coatings for quality assurance.Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to improve manufacturing performance.Define production solutions and equipment requirements, from conceptualization to detailed design.Assess safety and environmental impacts of new processes to ensure compliance.Optimise recurring manufacturing costs through process refinement.Troubleshoot process development and optimization.Generate production documentation and support operations, including team training.Research and incorporate new technologies aligned with the company's goals.Collaborate with subcontractors and partners to implement new production processes.Upskilling and developing.Looking after a teamRequirements for this Senior Manufacturing Engineer role:HNC/HND or equivalent in Manufacturing EngineeringCandidates with experience in robot programming, especially ABB experience, are highly desirable.If you are a technically skilled individual with a passion for manufacturing engineer and a desire to excel in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
