The Senior Manager for Market Access and Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) will support global Market Access for KIMMTRAK (tebentafusp) across 40 countries, including specific country responsibilities and support to our commercial partner (Medison) for Central and Eastern Europe, Canada, Australia, and LATAM. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Market Access and HEOR, ex-US and support the Head of International and partnership Markets . The internal global Market Access function is provided by two individuals and supported by in-country experts. There are currently approximately 30 Health Technology Assessment and P&R applications on-going.The Senior Manager will be accountable for specific countries and is expected to act as the subject matter expert for internal planning of evidence needs of the Immunocore pipeline for pricing, Health Technology Assessment and reimbursement. They will liaise with multiple internal functions, including Commercial and Marketing, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Biostats and Project Management to achieve reimbursement of KIMMTRAK. The individual will also liaise with Finance, Legal and Procurement to ensure compliance and invoice reconciliation for country-level budgets.The role will include significant autonomy, exposure to the executive team and an opportunity to develop skills at all levels of the Market Access function from global to local, in-country levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Provision of evidence and HEOR modelling to fulfil country-specific needs• Support pricing governance, including tracking and approval or country-specific pricing and contracts• Maintenance of the central global resource of evidence to support pricing and reimbursement• Manage Market Access budget for assigned countries as they relate to HEOR, Pricing and Market Access activities, including management of country-specific vendors, contracts and invoicing• Present and participate in national and regional payer meetings• Support the Medical and Commercial teams to align national reimbursement with launch of KIMMTRAK in each country• Support the Immunocore pipeline by creation, synthesis and delivery of clinical and economic value proposition aligned with the needs of global HTA, Pricing and Reimbursement.• Ensure that all Market Access activities comply with regulatory agencies, public policies/guidelines, and with corporate policies and procedures.PERSON SPECIFICATIONExperience & knowledgeEssential• Experience acquired within pharmaceutical or relevant consultancy companies within or above country.• Understanding of international Payer / HTA environments at the country, region and hospital level.• Hands on experience of HE&OR methodology and other technical approaches to generating value evidence, including localisation (e.g. national, regional, hospital) of clinical and economic evidence to persuade national and local decision-makers to reimburse KIMMTRAK (tebentafusp) and future Immunocore products• Willingness of working in a cross-functional role, owning projects and deliver solutions• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint• Knowledge of business language and good business acumen (knowledge how to approach ROI e.g.)• Experience with administrative processes and contracting• A creativity, curious and entrepreneurial approach in looking for new ways in uncovering opportunities that enable value to be created for patients, healthcare systems and Immunocore.Desirable• Understanding and consideration of cultural differences for international business• Interest in Agencies Management managing end-to-end RFP and vendor selection• Experience or exposure to Market Access / reimbursement environment in countries ex-EUSPECIFIC BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES• Strong organisational skills with forensic attention to detail• Good, cross-cultural / country communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders in an efficient and professional manner whilst having the confidence and gravitas to manage potential conflicts in priorities• Strong desire to learn and culture of curiosity• Resilience and positivity with high volume of work in challenging situationsKEY BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES – ALL STAFF• Openness and honestyReadily offering information and advise whether positive or negative.• Taking responsibilityBeing prepared to accept full responsibility for tasks entrusted to them, seeing tasks through to completion and dealing with the consequences of failure or success.• FlexibilityBeing flexible to new ideas and approaches; changes of plans, objectives and/or priorities.
