Opportunity to work with a Leading Global Professional Services Firm based in the UK, who are looking to add Regulatory Team talent to their Audit Quality team. This is a unique opportunity for exceptional individuals to join the Regulatory Team within the Audit Quality. At this pivotal juncture, you'll play a key role in shaping the team's future and contribute to its continued expansion. Working closely with leadership team and reporting directly to a Team Partner, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead the Single Quality Action Plan:This FRC-mandated initiative is your chance to directly shape our client's continuous quality improvement journey. You'll oversee, develop, and monitor its effectiveness, ensuring tangible progress and demonstrating our unwavering commitment to quality.
Be the voice of the FRC within the Firm:Gain unparalleled insight into the regulatory landscape by actively managing responses to the FRC's Audit Firm Supervision and Audit Market Supervision teams. This unique perspective will empower you to influence our client approach and strengthen their position in the industry.
Work hand-in-hand with senior leadership: You'll collaborate with senior figures across audited entities and non-frontline roles, making your voice heard at every level.
Go beyond the ordinary:Challenge and define focused actions to address audit findings promptly and effectively. Monitor their impact, ensuring continuous improvement and solidifying our reputation for excellence.
Forge meaningful connections:Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the audit practice and Central Functions. Foster open collaboration and diverse perspectives, enriching our internal ecosystem and driving better outcomes.
Become a thought leader:Participate in other AQD activities, contributing your expertise and shaping the future of audit quality within the Firm.
Requirements
Possession of a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ICAS, CPA or an equivalent accreditation.
Excellent knowledge of UK and International GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, ISQM1 and Financial Reporting requirements.
Experience in effectively managing and developing staff, as well as demonstrating business development skills.
