Senior Manager, Asset Protection & Risk Management

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs the Senior Manager with Asset Protection & Risk Management, you will be responsible for the development, management and administration of processes to protect Company assets and brand for retail commercialisation EMEA within Security Services, encouraging cross-functional collaboration with business units to help ensure programs are maintained in accordance with both enterprise and regional compliance requirements.This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.WHAT YOU WILL DOASSET PROTECTIONDevelop proactive and analytical strategy for asset protection Standards of Practice (SOPs), programs and compliance tools associated to workplace security and general profit protection initiativesIdentify, develop and manage specific employee new hire and refresher training programs related to eLearning, leader-led training and awareness poster and tips programs associated to physical and workplace security, asset protection and general loss mitigation initiativesWe manage cross-channel supply-chain security profit protection/inventory shrink reduction, ecommerce fraud investigation and Guest appeasement processes to reduce loss exposureOversee investigations and incident management (case disposition, prosecution, restitution, etc.)Support Anti-Piracy initiatives linked to retail Intellectual Property Abuse and Counterfeit merchandise investigationsSupport 3rd party retailer/licensee embargo/Sensitive Information Protection initiatives related to digital and physical asset handling; establish sample merchandise work flow protocolsBe the retail profit protection subject matter expert and act as a liaison for regional security, legal and Market Law EnforcementWe work with business to determine design/remodel needs related to owned and operated, pop-up and/or other related business models to mitigate potential loss exposures Risk ManagementOversee tools and supplies (AED, First Aid, Survival Kits, Eye Wash Stations, Grab and Go Backpacks, Barricade Devices, etc.) for segment facilities with blended model regional security collaboration for shared campusesIn consultation with regional security partners, oversee 24/7 incident critical issue efforts, ensuring consistent and timely responseOversee related audit initiatives, track performance/compliance and make appropriate recommendations to close gapsDrive cross-functional partner collaborations to support integrated approach to initiatives (Operations, Finance, Accounting, HR/ER, Corp Risk, Legal and Regional Security, etc.)Foster a sense of teamwork throughout the organisation Team Leadership!Lead by example as a key change agent; build a culture that fosters teamwork, and innovation while driving accountability to resultsOperate as part of an effective and inclusive team by demonstrating an awareness of others; welcoming and valuing unique perspectives and ideas; offering support, championing diversity and inclusion, sharing knowledge and standard processes in order to contribute to overall departmental commitmentsProactively suggest ways to improve departmental performance and processes, using technological tools where applicableBuild links with other business functions to develop a broader understanding of the businessREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSDegree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experienceSignificant experience of asset protection and risk program leadership or related experience required with large multi-unit speciality retailerWicklander-Zulawski investigation certificationsKnowledge of the Police and Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and similar European legislationExperience of developing and implementing loss prevention policies / processesExperience of leading a team is crucialTried experience of building effective links and handling partners within a large, multi-national, matrix organisationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrable attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyRobust leadership and talent development abilities and a collaborative and effective management styleInnovative, commercial and strategic approachOutstanding level of accuracy and attention to detailFlexibility to adapt to a fast paced and constantly evolving environmentProficient in MS Office SuiteIn-depth understanding of Retail Operating proceduresExperience of SAP an advantageInfluencing and negotiation skills across all levels of the organisationTHE PERKS25 days annual leavePrivate medical insurance & dental careFree Park Entry: You will have the opportunity to enter any of our parks with your family and friends for freeDisney Discounts: you are entitled to discounts on designated Disney products, resort F&B and ticketingExcellent parental and guardian leaveEmployee Resource Groups – WOMEN @ Disney, Disney DIVERSITY, Disney PRIDE, our new disability & neurodiversity focused group - ENABLED, and our Mental Health & Wellbeing Group, TRUST.The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
