Salary: £50,338 (National)/£54,088 (London) per annum plus benefitsLocation: Home WorkingContract: Permanent/Full-timeWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager – Investigation and Disruptionto join our Enforcement team in the Safety and Surveillance group.The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) enhance and improve the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, underpinned by science and research.The Criminal Enforcement Unit (CEU) is a dedicated law enforcement function within the MHRA, leading interventions to tackle the most serious criminal threats to the public from the illegal sale and supply of medicines and medical devices.Essential criteriaIt is essential, for candidates to have significant recent experience in the following areas:Leading teams responsible for the investigation and disruption of serious and complex crime.The design and delivery of criminal justice interventions.Devising and leading elements of the 4P strategic response framework to criminal threats.Delivery of strategic projects and portfolios.Negotiating, influencing, and strengthening senior stakeholder relationships.BehavioursWe will assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:Seeing the Big PictureChanging and ImprovingLeadershipCommunicating and InfluencingWorking TogetherManaging a Quality ServiceTechnical skillsWe will assess you against these technical skills during the selection process:Formal PIP2 (manager) accreditation or equivalent, or competence to ‘advanced practitioner’ level against core GCFP professional standards and ‘practitioner’ level against their ‘manager’ standards.A very detailed working knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.Excellent written communication skills and a proven ability to articulate complex matters clearly and concisely in a way that aids comprehension.This is a full-time home working role on a permanent basis with the potential of working from one of our London sites – Canary Wharf London E14 4PU / Potters Bar London EN6 3QG. This post will require some occasional travel within the UK.
