Senior Manager – Credit Management ReportingFull-timeReporting to the Head of Credit & Collections, this role is accountable for monthly & quarterly budget forecasting process along with daily & weekly reporting to ensure that there is a single version of the truth to drive continuous oversight & improvement.You will ensure that there is timely & accurate reporting covering all required KPIs, to enable the other areas within the team to function optimally. You will be responsible for designing/building/maintaining/optimising data models & insight, including Budget.You will stay abreast of industry and economic insight to ensure that our forecasts and future-proofed.Own the delivery of reporting, analysis and insight for Finance Operations performance. Identify trends and articulate opportunities for improvements with process and technical changes through challenging, influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders.In collaboration with stakeholders, design working practices, processes and introduce automation to deliver operational efficiencies and deliver revenue benefits both through revenue generation and protection – leading on changes within Finance Operations controlTurn information requests into insightful reporting that drives decision making by modelling and analysing large, complex data setsUse insight to tell the Finance Ops storyEnsure that stakeholders are up to date and clear on current and historic Finance Ops performance, providing regular updates linked to Department and Company objectives.Ensure thorough understanding of key department KPI’s, be fully conversant in the mechanics and work with key stakeholders to maintain relevance and challenge the numbersSupport other analysts within the function to ensure the BAU delivery of operational reporting and support it’s continual evolvement with efficiencies and improvements deliveredMaintain relationships with key data stakeholders across the business to ensure data consistency and one version of the truthDevelop new dashboards, reports and reporting mechanisms to report on key performance indicators and provide detailed trend analysis and recommendations to a broad range of stakeholdersIdentifying root causes of trends and seeking to consistently improve quality of output, identifying anomalies and data accuracy issues and developing solutions to improve overall reportingUnderstand the Finance Operations budget and forecasting models and work with senior stakeholders to develop and make enhancementsBuild and drive a culture of continuous improvement through the Finance Ops Analyst familyAdherence with regulatory and compliance in all aspects of data handling, management and storageBe the technical lead within Finance Ops on the development of new systems and tools in respect of analysing and reporting dataAbility to consume, visualise and story tell data effectively - build innovative dashboards and visualisations to show trends and insights using BI ToolsManage large amounts of structured and unstructured dataDevelop solutions, make decisions and implement actions for routine problemsPresenting at ELT and Director levelsEmbrace new tools and technologies including machine learning to fully utilise the opportunities to deliver change for business benefitProven Experience with databases, analytical and visualisation software and tools e.g. SQL, SAS, Excel, PowerBI, AlteryxCreative, driven and passionate about data with capability to work both with autonomy and in partnership with colleagues to find solutions to complex problems.Demonstration of strong strategic thinking skills and ability to analyse complex issues, be bold in decision making and to design and implement practical solutions to address themEngaging communicator with excellent storytelling skills, able to convert data to insight sharing what this could mean with senior stakeholders across the business & holdsexperience in driving transformation and continual improvement in an operations environment.Skilled in effective data visualisation, constantly working to improve the use of visualisations to supplement and enhance analytical outputs.Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
