With a competitive salary depending on experience, when you join us, you’ll also enjoy 25 days’ holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, a performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare.How you’ll change it upJoining us as a Senior Management Accountant, you’ll own financial reporting and support for all revenue verticals, cost of sales and associated gross margins. This means you’ll be responsible for all month-end associated activities such as preparing and analysing the numbers, explaining variances against budget, providing some general insight into the impact and trends, and presenting results. You’ll be crucial in the finance continuous improvement workstreams that look to improve processes, quality of data and automation. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:Maintaining revenue related records (including deferred and accrued revenue schedules) and reporting on figures associated with revenueBe the subject matter expect for all revenue and IFRS15 topics such as contract modifications and sales incentivesLiaising with the Commercial and Contracts teams to ensure that revenue is recognised accurately in line with customer contractsReporting Sales and Delivery KPIs, liaising with those teams to ensure accurate reportingProviding support and explanations to auditors for your areas of responsibilityWhat you’ll bring to the roleYou’ll be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong revenue accounting standard experience and good knowledge of IFRS15.
