Responsibilities:
Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentariesContribute to annual budgeting and planning processMentorship of 2 part qualified Assistant Management AccountantsEnsure compliance with all financial regulationsWork closely with the Financial Controller on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queriesReview accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance functionAnalyse financial information to assist business profitability and growthAssisting the Financial Controller and CFO on ad-hoc analysis such as business cases for investment decisionsSupport a strong learning culture within the team, helping to develop all finance colleagues by providing ad-hoc ‘on the job’ training
Person Specification:
Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with proven Management Accounts experienceAbility to thrive within a fast paced environmentAble to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approachThe ability to create effective working relationships quicklyExcellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae
