Senior Management Accountant

Sheridan Maine are working in collaboration with a key client based near Weymouth who are recruiting a Senior Management Accountant to support their business as they go through a period of significant growth and positive change.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the main objective of the Senior Management Accountant will be to generate timely management accounts for the company group. The role is supporting the wider finance team and we are seeking someone with experience in the following areas:
Ensure the finance team members receive continuous support to meet their target
Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the accounting system
Foster positive relationships and deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Compile monthly management accounts for a variety of group entities. Including;
Ensure timely submission and completion of the management reporting and regulatory reporting
Preparation and posting of monthly journals, updating fixed asset registers
Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Support the Financial Controller with the annual budget and audit preparation
Post accruals/prepayments
For this role we are seeking someone with skills and experience in the following areas:
ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Previously been in a similar Senior Management Accounting role or have experience in a similar level role
Experience working with ERP Systems
Excellent communication and ability to build rapport at all levels of business
