Senior Management Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is working in partnership with an internationally operating business in Hampshire, to recruit a forward thinking and adaptable Senior Management Accountant. The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance with responsibility for the company’s balance sheet and imputs to the management accounts.What will the Senior Management Accountant role involve?Management of month end/reporting processes, including preparation of the company's management accounts, with accurate and on-time reporting to Senior Management.Complete month end postings – accruals and prepayments with ownership of the company’s balance sheetManagement of cost lines within the P&L providing analysis on variances to forecast and budgetDevelop and control the company’s budgets to ensure that all financial targets are met and variances from budgets are identified and reported.Suitable Candidate for the Senior Management Accountant vacancy:Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA alongside sufficient experience within an international reporting structureFull understanding of UK GAAP, including complex P&L Accounts, Balance Sheets, Cashflow and Group reporting including consolidation;Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise; ability to work to very tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Additional benefits and information for the role of Senior Management Accountant: 25 days holidayContributory pensionBonusCMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
