This US owned global manufacturing have over 100 sites, 30 of which are across Europe, and 9 in the UK!
The role will report directly to the Financial Controller and�Support the Financial Controller in collating, developing and reporting the company financial information, so as to accurately complete the management accounts to deadlines.
The site is based in South Leeds, but the business operate hybrid working, working 3 days on the office and 2 from home.
***The ideal candidate will be an established Management Accountant with experience working in manufacturing or FMCG, with previous knowledge of SAP (or similar)***
The key responsibilities:
  1. Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts on a timely basis, including Plant Trading Summary and Percentage of Completion Summary.
  2. Assist with the financial forecasting of Revenues, CoGs and Order Related Gross Profit, assisting the FC in explaining to the wider business where necessary.
  3. Monthly completion of Capex & Fixed Asset reconciliations.
  4. Work closely with the Assistant Accountant on Cost centre reviews, reconciliations, Stock & WIP reports and Project Cost Accruals.
  5. Co-ordinate and develop the monthly Cost Control meetings: providing direct support and information to the Project Managers, as well as other interested parties, where required.
  6. Responsible for the forecast of project costs and sales.
  7. Data reconciliations, uploads and system maintenance as required to support the monthly Cost Control, liaising with other parts of the business where needed.
  8. Working with the FC, continue to develop the project cost reporting to support the needs of various stakeholders throughout the business.
  9. Assist the FC in preparation of consolidation of departmental budgets and forecasts

The ideal candidate:
  • Finalist/Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience of manufacturing
  • Excellent knowledge of monthly management accounts
  • Excellent MS Excel skills (required)
  • Understanding of ERP / database management (SAP knowledge required)
  • General computer skills

Salary & Benefits:
  1. Salary ranges from �45,000 to �50,000, based upon qualifications. We provide a study program for those who are partially qualified, and this will be factored into the salary offered.
