Job Title: Senior Management Accountant - 6 Month Contract

Job Duties:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to senior management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Participate in financial audits and liaise with auditors.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.
Required Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar management accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practises.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in management accounting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in the manufacturing or retail industry.
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
Working Conditions:
This role is based in an office setting. Standard office hours apply, with occasional overtime required during peak periods.
