Senior Maintenance Electrician

Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Electrician for work in Kinross on a permanent basis to support our client's engineering team!

Working full-time, the successful candidate can expect 35 days' annual leave (including bank holidays), an attractive pension scheme and a salary between £38,000 and £42,000 depending on experience.

Working as a Senior Maintenance Electrician:

• Overseeing and working with electrical design plans to a strict schedule
• Identifying areas for improvement of current processes and methodologies
• Performing maintenance of equipment, diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Playing a key role in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new additions to the team
• Making sure that electrical equipment and control systems are performing to a satisfactory standard
• Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation

The successful Senior Maintenance Electrician will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role in electrical maintenance
• A valid 17^th or 18^th Edition, qualified to City & Guilds level or above
• The ability to produce, interpret and work to electrical drawings and specifications, including machine circuit drawings
• Previous experience working with variable drive systems and 3-phase supply systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and good practice
