We are currently seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our Corporate Logistics team at our Four Ashes site.
As a Senior Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing various logistics functions, encompassing transportation, inbound resale logistics, and compliance activities. Ensuring adherence to legal compliance and upholding SI's global brand promise will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute indirect and/or direct procurement for assigned logistics areas, balancing "cost to serve" with quality and service requirements
Implement logistics programs, including transportation booking and monitoring, in accordance with economic goals, safety, regulatory, customs, and environmental standards, satisfying customer requirements
Implement logistics strategies as per Global Procurement guidelines
Execute logistics management in alignment with Global Distribution and Logistics, Global Procurement guidelines, Order to Cash principles, and Service Level Agreements
Coordinate documentation/information for inbound shipments to ensure zero defects and minimize additional costs
Provide information to all regional sites regarding inbound orders, encompassing re-sales, raw materials, etc
Coordinate with brokers for customs clearance and site logistics, ensuring complete and accurate documentation per Incoterm designation
Manage inward processes, Good Received Notes, TAB orders, and Drop shipments
Execute Relationship Management processes as per guidelines of Global Distribution and Logistics and Global Procurement
Maintain visibility to warehouse utilization in collaboration with Logistics Procurement leaders and operating site contacts
Identify opportunities for warehouse optimization and improved performance related to cost and utilisation
Own and manage audit actions related to Pharma business requirements for EMEA
Support key stakeholders and internal/external customers in executing logistics activities in assigned categories
Support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Manager, including KPI management and fulfilment of ISO 9001 system requirements
Support additional projects and site activities as required
Act as a backup for colleagues
Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Manager
Essential Qualities:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Understanding of prioritization and timely goal accomplishment.
Capacity to build and maintain internal and external business relationships.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain (or equivalent work experience)
Over 10 years of experience in supply chain management
Import/Export Knowledge
Strong background in supply chain functions (planning/S&OP, service provider management, process/data management)
Proficient in MS-Outlook, MS-Excel, MS-Word, SharePoint, and ERP systems
SAP Knowledge
Occasional travel may be required for this role.
