Pay rate: Up to �26 per hour (negotiable), PAYE/Umbrella.

Location: Gloucester Business Park

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Our client, a leading player within the Nuclear industry, now has an immediate requirement for a Senior Logistics Administrator to join their Spent Fuel Team based in Gloucester. Overseeing the logistics, facilitating the transportation of spent fuel from our 7 AGR stations via the rail network for processing and storage. Reporting to the AGROP Programme & Spent Fuel Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing short and long-term logistics plans. Working closely with our stations, engineers, and external partners, you'll ensure the compliant and effective use of our fleet of flasks during the exceptionally busy AGR defueling period.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in logistical planning.
  • Experience in complex logistical or administrative related role.
  • Experience within highly regulated industry.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and team working skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time management.
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality and discretion when working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to communicate confidential and complex information to internal and external stakeholders.

Role information:

  • Chair cross business and external meetings in support of this role.
  • Liaise with EDF flask programmers across the UK and our external partners to establish an optimal flask move forecast.
  • Create the weekly, monthly and monthly logistics plan.
  • Liaise with engineers to ensure maintenance of flasks and compliant transportation.
  • Recognise challenges, plan mitigations and prioritise weekly moves as necessary.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are fully aware of programme requirements.
  • Support the creation and re prioritisation of flask move plans.
  • Provide and communicate reporting on flask movement performances, losses and near misses.
  • Ensure flask and spent fuel movements are appropriately recorded.
  • Maintain databases in support of flask and skip condition.
