Senior Lettings Negotiator
Location: Pinner
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Full-time, permanent
The Senior Lettings Negotiator position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the lettings industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in negotiation, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service. A comprehensive understanding of current lettings legislation is essential, along with a passion for the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Lettings Negotiator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new landlords.
  • Assisting in the efficient progression of agreed deals.
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of agreements, clauses, and industry regulations.
  • Responding promptly to telephone and website leads.
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other departments to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  • Understanding accounts to address queries with the Accounts Department.
  • Chase outstanding rents and fees.
  • Contributing to increasing market share through attracting new business.
  • Working closely with various departments, including Accounts, Renewals, and Property Management.
  • Handling the process of notifying landlords and liaising with Property Management when tenants serve notice.
  • Liaising with solicitors for advice when necessary.
  • Updating internal documents and systems.
  • Setting up properties to be marketed effectively.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as either a Junior Lettings Negotiator or Lettings Negotiator.
  • ARLA qualified Level 2 or equivalent (opportunities to gain further qualifications will be encouraged).
  • Full clean driving license and own vehicle.
