This will include reviewing and negotiating a broad range of contracts such as master services agreements, software-as-a-service agreements, deal memos, voice over agreements, location agreements, waivers, standard form supplier agreements, training the business on self-service templates and the contractual process. You will support the Legal Director on large complex or strategic matters, if necessary, and you will also provide oversight and guidance to more junior members of the team where applicable.Job Qualifications:You will need to demonstrate versatility, a commercial approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges, even if they are not within your area of expertiseEssential Skills:Preferred experience in key legal areas affecting Tag (general commercial, intellectual property, production, marketing and advertising, technology) Growing understanding of Tag’s business operations; goals and strategies in area of responsibilityAbility to apply legal knowledge and expertise in business environment Developing legal analytical skills and ability to provide pragmatic solutions Good communication, negotiation and drafting skills Degree in law Professional law qualifications and a valid practising certificatePersonal Attributes: Articulate and a good listener Excellent judgment Self-starter Team player keen to take on high degree of autonomy
Forthright and confident, with a sense of humourThis role would suit a lawyer circa 6 PQE, but all levels of experience will be consideredResponsibilitiesAdvise members of the business on legal and related risks associated with Tag’s operations in area of responsibility Largely work autonomously within given remit Maintain effective relationships with clientsProvide general legal and contractual adviceAnalyse and interpret case law, court reports, and proposed and existing laws and regulations to prepare technical reports on how they impact Tag’s operationsAdvise business on legal trends and developing areas of lawAssist senior members of the team in training the businessChampion continuous improvement and innovationAs an ethical employer, Tag will never ask job applicants to provide private, sensitive information upfront or make offers of employment contingent on financial requests or responsibilities from any candidate.
