About the role
As the Senior Legal Counsel you will be assisting the Chief Legal Officer by providing expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract management. The role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts; ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards; collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and mitigate legal risks; lead and manage legal projects, offering innovative solutions to complex legal challenges; and addressing data protection and privacy issues from a b2c perspective, ensuring the company's practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Who are you?
Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably within the financial services, fintech sector or tech.
Strong knowledge of data protection and compliance requirements.
Keen understanding of the consumer landscape.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with a business-oriented approach to problem-solving.
