Job Description:Job Title Senior Java Engineer - FX TechnologyLocation LondonCorporate Title Assistant Vice PresidentOur Foreign Exchange (FX) Technology team are working with modern technology to support a top 3 leadership position of Deutsche Bank in Foreign Exchange space. You'll be part of a global team working directly with the front-office technology supporting electronic Forwards trading business that involve very large amount of data, strong performance requirements and globally distributed infrastructure. Forwards trading within Foreign Exchange complex is an area of growth undergoing rapid electronification with a fully packed product development roadmap and non-functional efficiency challenges abound.Most of the platform is written in Java with the pricing core being very latency sensitive and using state-of-the art programming techniques enabling the scale to cover all G10 currencies and emerging markets. You will be working at the heart of the platform with direct communication with front office colleagues delivering in agile fashion. The role would involve not only functional development, but also cover non-functionals like latency, horizontal scalability, and cloud readiness.What we'll offer youHybrid WorkingWe understand that employee expectations and preferences are changing.
