Senior Java Developer Job role: You will own the design for key components of the solution, translating the overall high level designs | HLD into detailed designs for key components, working closely with the development, functional and performance testing teams to ensure the solution is implemented as designed, and performing as expected You will report into the overall solution architect, and will be based in Reading, with some expensed travel required to other locations in the UK when required Expertise in designing Java based solutions is a must for this role, but a background in Telecoms is not required. The type of environment you will work in is one where microservices, noSQL databases, Docker and Elastic are commonly used You will need to have already worked in a Senior or Lead Java role Experience with modern Java frameworks and development tools. You will also have experience of handling large amounts of data, along with experience of Agile development methodologies such as SAFE
