Senior J2EE Engineer - Payments - Fully Remote

With a remote first policy, our client has over 1,000 people dotted across the globe, with just over 200 people residing in the UK and Ireland. This business has gone from strength to strength in these geographies over the last 3 years, with several successful acquisitions giving ambitious Software Engineers the opportunity to engage in greenfield projects in your first few weeks.
This role will be a key hire in a new feature development team, which will provide Senior level J2EE Developers the opportunity to develop new features from scratch in a highly performant, fault tolerant payments environment.

What could make you a good fit?
Experience developing highly performant systems, concurrent programming, multi-threading and/or applications with very high levels of throughput
Core Java Development without the use of frameworks
Recent experience working daily with J2EE
Excellent API Development experience
