Senior IT Procurement Manager - Leading European Insurance Company.

Location - Bristol or London

Salary - £75,000 - £85,000

As Senior IT Procurement Manager you'll be:

Responsible for managing and implementing the UK Procurement strategy, you'll use Category Management Processes and RACI to increase efficiency, compliance with FCA/PRA requirements and reduce costs.

  • Building relationships with key internal stakeholders to optimise business requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery of the process/initiative.
  • Utilise your broad experience of IT Procurement categories with a strong focus on software application such as Paas, SaaS, Cloud Hosting: IT Services; Business Transformation propelled by technology and SI Partners.
  • Negotiate and agree the best commercial framework, balancing service vs risk vs cost.
  • Build and deliver the Category Strategy alongside their experienced Global Category Manager.
  • Manage delivery of UK & Ireland Procurement process, policy and procedures.
  • Utilise Procurement tools and best practice to increase efficiency and the quality of delivery.

What we're looking for in a Senior IT Procurement Manager:

  • Demonstratable Procurement experience in a similar role with proven experience in a manager role.
  • CIPS Professional Procurement qualification.
  • A level education is expected, however, degree-level candidates are preferred.
  • As a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
