Comaea Consulting has been retained exclusively for a new opportunity with a MNC in the shipping industry.Senior IT Operations Specialist – Infrastructure(Based in Singapore)ORGANIZATION : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist - Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization environments.Implement and optimize infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and enhance efficiency.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices for infrastructure management and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.Lead efforts to implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure management and recommend strategic upgrades or enhancements.YOUR PROFILE:A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field. More than 7 years’ experience in managing IT infrastructure in a MNC. Expertise in deploying, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems.Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.You have good experience and working knowledge in the following technologies : IT Asset management tools like Desktop Central or similar. Meraki/CISCO or similar firewalls/switches.
