This is essential for enabling Aegon s businesses around the globe to be innovative, digital, and competitive, efficient, and effective, and to provide the best solutions and customer experience for our customers and shareholders.The Job:The Business Systems Analyst team serves as liaisons between the business and GTS to support the organizational goals and technology strategy. Primary areas of responsibility include business analysis, requirements elicitation, process improvement, stakeholder management, change management, and software implementation.What You Will Do:Define and document business requirements related to system functionality, performance, security, and internal controls; document current state and future state processes for purposes of gap analysis, process improvement opportunities and training; obtain approvals from the business sponsor.Communicate effectively with external and internal teams to ensure the delivery of the solutions and/or project's functional requirements.Participate or coordinate technology evaluations by assisting business areas with changes or selection of systems. Participate or coordinate Request for Proposal processes, impact analysis and feasibility studies. Maintain relationships with IT application vendors during selection processes and implementation projects. Provide consultancy and research possibilities with respect to solutions and cost (support business case preparation).Interact with the business to know and understand their processes and (IT) needs. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.Liaise with peers in country-units and external parties in the field of Business Analysis, Project Management, Business Process Management, Application Management and Test Management, to exchange best practices, knowledge, and processes and to mature and improve the Business Systems Analyst role and expertise/skills.Prepare test cases based on knowledge of how the system is designed, requirements and expected results. Execution of detailed test cases/scripts for functional testing and regression testing. Track any issues and follow up on the related resolution.Coordinate user acceptance testing with business end-users of application.Ensure the quality of documents and other deliverables meets quality standards, appropriate methodology and acceptance criteria.The role may require flexible hours and occasional travel to accommodate global project teamsWe'd love to hear from you if you have:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent knowledgeExperienced in business requirements gathering and documentingExperienced in quality assurance and testing methodologiesExperienced in business process analysis/mapping skillsWell-developed knowledge of standard SDLC methodologiesWell-developed ability to accept and embrace change, and manage through ambiguous situationsExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening)Advanced experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint)It'd also be great - but not essential - if you've got:Financial Services and Insurance industry experienceExperience with Agile development, Scrum, and DevOpsExperience with Data and MonitoringExperience with cloud technologiesWhat's in it for you?A competitive starting salary from £41,680- £62,520, with an expected starting salary of £41,680 - £52,100A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our staff live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.The legal bitsWe'll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK.
