Senior Internal Comms, Employee Engagement Consultant
Location: Hybrid/Remote/ London
Salary: £80-100k
 
As the Senior IC Consultant will lead a multi-disciplinary, client-serving team responsible for servicing a multitude of client accounts within a leading specialist agency set for growth. You will have overall accountability for the quality of delivery, client relationships, commercial health, and growth of the accounts within your remit and will be a SME In your filed, ideally around cultural change, including reward and recognition and organisational design.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
·Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
·Seek, and capitalise on, opportunities to expand relationships and remit within client accounts to grow revenue.
·Assemble project teams with the right mix of skills and experience to deliver high-profile, complex client projects.
·Oversee delivery of key outputs, ensuring overall quality of deliverables and client service.
·Manage resource across client accounts and, working with other directors of consultancy, across the business as a whole.
·Working with the managing director, set annual budgets/targets for all client accounts within your remit.
·Take accountability for the commercial health of all accounts within your remit, making commercially sound decisions that take account of profitability, client relationships and resource.
·Review and sign off all cost estimates before they are sent to client.
·Check in with senior client stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
·Oversee the preparation of client pitches and proposals, working hand-in-hand with head of business development and other teammates, and lead the presentation of high-value pitches and proposals.
·Line-manage up to 7 heads of, supporting them in their professional development and managing any performance concerns.
·Working with the managing director and other directors to shape the strategic direction and growth plans.
·Act as senior sponsor for strategic initiatives where appropriate, driving progress on such initiatives.
·Contribute to thought leadership and marketing.
·Actively promote through external channels such as LinkedIn, taking account of client confidentiality and commercial sensitivity.
·Lend subject matter expertise to client projects.
 
Experience required:
 
·8+ years' IC and employee engagement experience.
·2+ years' consultancy or agency experience.
·Expertise in a specific HR or Organisational Change subject area (eg. reward and recognition, organisational design).
 
·Professional internal communications or HR qualification.
·Advanced commercial acumen and the ability to set and manage large budgets across a group of client accounts.
·Ability to build relationships and act as a trusted advisor to Executive-level client stakeholders.
·Experience of leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
·Strong pitching skills.
·Experience of leading pricing/cost conversations with clients.
