Role: Senior Internal Audit Manager Location: Birmingham / HybridSalary: GBP60,000 - GBP80,000 Skills: Audit, Legal, Internal, Planning, Reporting, Financial Services, BankingOur rapidly expanding Challenger Banking client is currently in search of a highly capable Internal Audit Manager to join their team. In this influential role, you will be responsible for regular business monitoring, annual risk assessments and participation in the annual planning processes. This role has accountability for leading end-to-end audit processes, including planning, execution, follow-up and reporting.Responsibilities Delivering end-to-end audit activities Supporting the development and delivery of the annual internal audit plan.Managing the wider audit universe and developing effective working relationships with external auditors, the compliance team within the bank and our co-source partners
Key tasks Independently conducting audits, including planning, execution and reporting.Delivering high-quality reportsBuilding the capability and capacity of the IA function to achieve the standards set in the Internal Auditor Financial Services Code of PracticeAbility to evidence adherence to the Core Principles of Internal Auditing Building our capability and use of data analytics to support effective data-based decision making Experience 4+ years of Internal Audit experience (preferably experience as an Internal Audit Manager or equivalent level). You must also have financial services experience (preferably within banking). Qualifications & Personal Characteristics Ideally educated to degree level, although suitably experienced candidates will be considered. This role would be suited to either a Chartered Internal Auditor, a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA etc.) or a banker with chartered banker or similar level qualification.
