Senior Insurance Reporting AccountantSalary: 80,000 - 90,000 per annum | Location: London
A great opportunity to join a successful and long-established Lloyd's underwriter. The role will work closely with the Head of Reporting and include the supervision of finance team members. Duties will include:
Direct involvement in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and accounts for various entities including the Managing Agency
Assisting with the production of consolidated accounts
Responsibility for the group budgeting process with much interaction with department heads and the wider business in general
Management of expense allocations and recharges
Acting as key contact for external bodies including auditors and HMRC
Supervision of staff whose roles span accounts payable, cashiering and general ledger up to trial balance
Involvement in a number of projects and the ongoing development of processes in line with company growth and development.
Candidates will ideally have worked in the insurance industry and this can be from an underwriting or broking background.
