Join us as Senior Insight Analyst for Commerce Product in the Group OTT Analytics team:
You’ll be joining at an exciting time of growth and transformation as Sky’s streaming business undergoes pivotal changes in its evolution – with technology, data and analytics at the heart of this growth.

What you’ll do:

Develop relationships with stakeholders in the wider Commerce Product teams and Global Streaming Product teams to reach a deep understanding of the business and commercial strategies
Own and execute the insight and analytics plan/roadmap with appropriate data mining and analytic techniques
Produce high quality, actionable insights through analytics and cutting-edge predictive algorithms
Produce high quality dashboards in Tableau
Develop and maintain strategies and segments for different business areas: tracking performance of actions taken and articulating reasons behind it and recommending improvement actions
Work with colleagues across various disciplines across Analytics, Marketing, Strategy/Commercial, and Reporting to pull together holistic insights
Produce strategic reviews and provide Executive level recommendations based on emerging trends
Work with different large data sets in order to build actionable insight
Use data to solve business problems and in arriving at statistical solutions
Be a technical problem solver, playing a strategic role and feeding back insights to the Commerce Product teams

What you’ll bring:
Self-starter who’s actively curious about what numbers are telling us and how they can be actioned to improve customer plans
Knowledge: Experience in commercial, data-rich BtoC environments, ideally Media, Retail, Telecommunications, Gaming or Financial Services
Technical grounding across data manipulation tools such as SQL, BigQuery, Python, R
Experience working with large data sets/statistics
Experience using visualisation tools like Tableau or QlikView
Integrity: Willingness to speak up on difficult issues with own opinions, at the same time be humble and be able to ask for help
Strong interpersonal skills with proven record in fast paced and quick changing environments
Able to coach junior members of the team
Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science/engineering, Economics, or other numerical subject
Minimum of 5 years of analytical experience in applying insight/statistical solutions to business problems
