Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Networks)

Our client, a successful independent IT Services company based in Hertfordshire, currently have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy team at a high level role within the business. They will be able to work flexible hybrid basis, coming into the office around once a week.As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer your responsibilities will be split between technical support and technical project delivery to clients across the UK. Additionally, you will manage internal Infrastructure and Applications.You will:Oversee the delivery of client projects, following agreed-upon scope, timelines, and budgetServe as a escalation point for the Helpdesk, managing all escalated tickets, and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and to a high qualityCarry out Technical Pre-sales activities, engaging with clients to understand their requirements and providing comprehensive technical solutions that align with their needs and SLA's.Provide management and support for internal systems, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance to facilitate efficient business operationsOperate seamless Client
Onboarding/Offboarding
processes, guiding clients through transitionsProvide consultancy to clients, offering expert guidance and recommendations to address their challenges and maximise valueCarry out site surveys and create relevant documentation thereafterExperience required:Hands-on Technical knowledge of Routing LAN/WAN, Switching, Cisco, Meraki, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs and network segmentationsExperience with management of devices with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Microsoft IntuneExperience with Azure, Active Directory and virtual machines within the Azure CloudDeployment and support of Microsoft 365 products, including
SharePoint/OneDrive
