The Role
As a
Senior Information Security Manager , you will serve as the process owner of all assurance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer’s managed security service provision and business information in compliance with the organizations and its information security policies.
You will lead the Information Security aspects of the contract within Service Delivery Management, assess process effectiveness and make recommendations for service improvement. You will be responsible for improving service standards using and building a comprehensive knowledge base, sharing best practice, and consulting with customers (internal and external) to provide excellent service.
Key responsibilities:
the delivery for a specialist security service management function within or into an account.
with customer’s and Information Security teams, to drive security improvements, promote and identify security enhancements and to ensure contractual and compliance requirements are met and delivered.
promote and identify latest information security services that will benefit our customers in terms of security benefits, experience and service improvement and increase business revenue.
evaluate and maintain contractual Information Security requirements.
security activities such as risk, security incidents, changes, and policies.
our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and our actions enhance our customer relationship. Provides operational and specialist insight to drive continuous improvements.
risks and provide proposals for potential solutions, balancing risk with business needs.
elements of security service delivery at all levels within the customer(s) to deliver contracted service commitments & continual service improvements.
responsibility for risk assessments and gap analysis exercises, while working collaboratively with various business units to facilitate the required remediation.
the building and continuous development of the Information Security toolkit.
manage elements of capability units & other suppliers in a service partnership as ‘one service team’ to middle management level.
maintain, and ensure compliance to the Security process/processes.
review the security process and associated activities for efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
initial investigation to determine scope and details of security issues and update stakeholders accordingly.
and manage the development of security solutions to identified issues.
investigate, and analyse security statistics to identify historical trends and knowledge gaps and provide relevant support and content via management reporting.
in regular reviews to resolve security issues / review processes with relevant parties, such as Service Desks, Operations, Account Team, Security Team, Solution Architects etc.
The success in this role will be assessed by the following KPIs:
Contractual Compliance to the Security Measures .
Maintain and assure compliance to an ISO27001 based Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Create and maintain of Information Security documents.
Manage the regular IT Security audits.
Security Event Response and Investigation escalation point.
Major Security Incident Management Communication and Support.
Change assessment service identifying security risks and mitigating counter measures within the formal infrastructure change process.
Customer satisfaction feedback.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
knowledge in the domain of Cybersecurity with practitioner’s experience for leading large scale Cybersecurity engagement (not just managerial, but domain expertise is the key)
certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, C-CISO.
technology certifications in security solutions (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, PaloAlto, etc.) are appreciated.
