Senior Human Resources Advisor

Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for international HR operations? We are seeking a highly experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team and deliver excellence on a global scale.
You will join STS, a key player in the global renewable energy sector. With operations spanning thirteen countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, our teams comprise individuals, much like yourself, who are passionate about their work, technology, quality, and sustainability.
Position Overview
As a key member of our exceptional Global People Team, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping and implementing robust HR operations, policies, and practices that underpin our initiatives on a global scale. Working closely with colleagues across Europe, North America, and Asia, you will engage in daily collaboration with our HR teams and employees spanning diverse countries and time zones. This collaborative ethos fosters effective collaboration and cultivates a vibrant culture of diversity and inclusion.
You will closely collaborate with the UK-based Chief People Officer (CPO) to drive HR initiatives aligning with organisational goals. Serving as a trusted partner, you will offer insights and expertise on HR matters like talent acquisition and development, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, quality assurance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to both management and employees.
Offer expert guidance on various aspects including employment law, disciplinary, grievance procedures, and initiatives promoting employee well-being.
Provide counsel on employment relations matters, resolving cases, and ensuring strict adherence to HR policies in line with relevant legislation across all countries of operation.
Analyse workforce needs, identify skills gaps, and develop succession plans aligned with HR's strategic priorities.
Deliver talent acquisition, including job design, candidate assessment, selection, hiring, and onboarding. Work closely with country HR offices to ensure effective recruitment service.
Ensure effective implementation of performance management and appraisal systems to foster employee growth and recognition.
Coordinate salary reviews and bonus processes to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
Administer payroll processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payment to employees and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement by developing and updating HR processes, policies, and procedures.
Perform HR administration tasks such as maintaining employee records, managing benefits enrollment, and handling employee inquiries.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in HR management, psychology, business, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in core HR operations, preferably in an international and culturally diverse setting.
Demonstrated expertise in HR principles, practices, tools, and regulatory compliance across diverse geographical regions.
Strong analytical acumen with the capacity to interpret data effectively and derive actionable insights and solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and diverse cultures.
Proficient in HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other relevant HR tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Transition to Hybrid Work Model: We anticipate transitioning to a hybrid working model within the next year. As part of this transition, you will be expected to adhere to a hybrid work schedule, including three days a week at our London office.
