Senior HSE Advisor . The successful candidate will assist all department managers, delivering all HSE Plans. If you have 3-4 year's experience HSE experience in a manufacturing industry, why not reach out today for a confidential chat?Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsuring site Health Safety and Environmental legal complianceMaintaining IMS System (OHSAS 18001 & ISO14001)Coordinating and consulting with Directors and ManagementCorrective action planningImplementation of audits to check and verify Health Safety and Environmental compliance.Carry out training and development of the Health Safety and Environmental systems.Consulting with local authorities with regards to Health Safety and Environmental issuesCoordinating with industrial hygienist and Occupational Health PractitionerCarry out risk assessments.Effectively coach and work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamManaging all civil litigation caseCarrying out communications and presentations to all levels within the organisationManagement and deployment of Ergonomic - Health and Wellbeing PromotionRisk management and GRC inspection visit.Occupational health assessmentsOccupational hygienist review and implementation of corrective action requirementsInsurance inspection visit facilitation.Racking inspection facilitationDeployment of the organisations Road Map plans in Safety, Risk Management and EnvironmentalTraining and educational programme evaluationsIncident investigation collation and analysisCorporate HSE online reporting system, Corporate HSE conference callsHSE action plan management, HSE team workload co-ordinationPPE tenders' usage rates and collation of dataComplete Arena Network SurveyHSE invoice resolution management, HSE control room evaluation About youA NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar.Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental LegislationA good working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and Display Screen Equipment.Significant experience gained in a similar role within similar industry The below would also be desirable though not essential:Ability to demonstrate significant experience of working within manufacturing environmentNEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management CertificateNEBOSH Environment Certificate or similar.NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Well-being at workTrain the Trainer CertificateKnowledge of PPC Regulations, UK Packaging regulations,Experience of implementation, development or auditing of management systems; OHSAS 18001/ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO14001, ISO9001Experience of coaching and mentoringMembership of IOSHNext Steps: Please submit your application or speak to a specialist consultant from the Abacus team on 0044 (0) 28 ##### ##### for a confidential discussion.
