Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire, UK
Contract Type: 18 Month contract - opportunity to extend

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior HRBP to join their Human Resources team. In this role, you will partner with senior leaders and managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support our organisational goals and enhance employee engagement, performance, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders and managers to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies and initiatives that align with organisational goals.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance on a wide range of people-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organisational design.
  • Lead and support HR projects and initiatives, such as workforce planning, succession planning, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coach and develop HR team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Drive a culture of high performance and accountability, supporting managers in setting and achieving performance goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, and promote best practices in HR management.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for all employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a senior HRBP or HR leader, with a track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives in a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on developing and empowering HR team members.
  • Experience in the defence or nuclear industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain security clearance at the DV level.
