Senior HR Generalist - Central London

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our busy Team.
This is a full-time hands on HR Generalist role based in London. As the Senior HR Generalist you will be responsible for all the HR function's day-to-day operational HR duties from Employee relations, Grievance management, implementing and maintaining HR policies, Managing Payroll and ensuring compliance with UK employment law, and providing HR guidance. The Senior HR Generalist will also manage HR projects as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the first point of contact for all UK based employees and line managers on all HR queries and supporting the HR function on all day-to-day operational HR duties,
Manage all recruitment and onboarding activities with the support of the existing HR team,
Provide in-house HR advice and support, ensuring that all policies and processes are consistently applied and that all HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably,
Managing & supporting managers with ER matters from beginning to end with matters such grievances, disciplinary and escalation when necessary,
Collaborate with HR colleagues to support a ‘one team’ approach to ensure we maintain continuous improvement within the team and Network,
Overseeing and monitoring staff performance, career development and appraisal processes,
Responsibility for all Personnel Files including auditing the files, electronic filing, and adhering to the internal audit process, GDPR & Data Protection regulations,
Must be able to exercise judgment and independently take appropriate action within defined HR Policies and procedures,
The Person we are looking to hire will be:

Experience & Educations Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR Generalist experience ideally in a International organisation,
Academic Qualification in the field of Human Resources would be desirable,
A strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices,
Experience of a partly unionised workforce would be an advantage,
You will be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves.
You will have strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables.
Ability to identify problems and drive appropriate Solutions.
