Velocity Global is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner that will operate as a trusted partner in our EMEA region. This role connects business needs to people and organization activity. This role will work closely with centers of expertise across the global HR Team function for successful delivery of people programs and services. We are seeking someone with a client focus and deep understanding of people's practices in an international environment. The successful candidate thrives in a highly complex and fast-moving environment while maintaining a sense of humor and perspective.The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a consultant to management on people-related issues, acts as an employee champion and a change agent. The successful candidate maintains an effective level of business literacy about the company’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.Reporting to Vice President, People & Culture, this role collaborates with a team of HR Business Partners covering 52+ countries. We are looking to fill the position in The Netherlands (Amsterdam), United Kingdom (London) or Ireland (Dublin)RESPONSIBILITIESCoaches leaders on key people topics such as organization design, change management, people development and leadership capabilityWorks closely with the business to instill a high-performance culture, effectively use metrics, analytics and insights and tailored interventions to drive people performancePartners closely with management to improve work relationships, builds morale, and increases productivity and retentionManages and resolves complex employee relations issues timely and discreetly. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigationswhile balancing advocacy for employees with business prioritiesCollaborates with Centers of Expertise and within the HR Business Partnering Team to deliver both people and business programs and initiatives across leadership, people development, performance management, change management, talent management, talent acquisition and total rewardsContributes to the wider HR function and client groups by executing best practices that drive employee engagement and a high-performing team that drives business performanceThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
