Senior HR Advisor

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area.
Senior HR Advisor salary: �40,000 - �45,000 (depending on experience)
Senior HR Advisor hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Senior HR Advisor Roles and responsibilities:

• Support the senior managers and directors with any HR and employer relations.
• Recruitment and induction process, ensuring new recruits are inducted into the business and the relevant department.
• Prepare paperwork for HR meetings, such as absence management, probationary review and/or performance meetings, disciplinary/grievance.
• Workforce planning for HR resourcing projects.
• Training and development of staff, liaising with other departmental managers to ensure all training is completed and signed-off.
• Managing absence.
• Managing and maintaining contracts, personnel files and other employee information
• Any ad-hoc work as required by the Directors and Senior Management Team

The ideal Senior HR Advisor will be:

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• CIPD Level 5 Human Resource Management and working towards CIPD Level 7
• Senior HR Advisor experience
• Experience in supporting a business through structural, cultural and technological change
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation
• Strong IT Skills, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HR databases, HR digital platforms including online learning management systems
• Experience in data analysis
• Preferable if acted as a deputy to a HR lead in a similar organisation
• Preferable if experience within a manufacturing environment
