We're seeking a dynamic Senior Highways Engineer to join our vibrant team based in Brighton!The ideal candidate will be professionally accredited (IEng or CEng) or near chartered status for the role in the highways team.This a full time, permanent position.What You'll Do:Design Expertise: Utilize your significant experience in developing detailed highway maintenance and improvement scheme designs in line with the DMRB using AutoCAD and Civils 3D.3D Engineering Designs: Showcase your ability to produce 3D Engineering designs from 2D layouts, including existing and proposed models, cross-sections, long sections, and contours.Infrastructure Design: Lead the design and documentation of civil infrastructure components, encompassing Highway design (S38/S278) and Drainage design.Client Collaboration: Liaise with statutory authorities, undertakers, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful project implementation.Team Support: Provide technical advice and support to our Highways Team, contributing to the management and delivery of exceptional service to our clients.Project Leadership: Take the lead on projects from conceptual design through to site monitoring, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.Mentorship: Support and mentor junior staff with their training and development, ensuring continuous growth within the team.Personal Attributes:Qualifications: Hold an accredited degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
