Senior Health & Safety Manager (for a National M&E Contractor based in Nottingham)
My client are seeking to employ a Health & Safety Manager on a permanent basis. They are a well-known East midlands M&E contractor and can offer opportunity for progression. This is a senior level appointment for the business.
Ideally, you will be NEBOSH certified and have 5 + years experience in a similar position.
Health & Safety Manager - Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with current regulations and legislation
- Provide guidance and support to directors, management, and employees on all health and safety matters
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents, and implement measures to prevent re-occurrence
- Carry out site audits to monitor and improve our site operations
- Maintain records and reports related to health and safety performance and compliance
- Stay up to date on relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Salary / Package
up to �55,000 (flexible for the right candidate) + Car or Allowance, 2x Bonus per annum, Healthcare + progression plans.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
- Fridays 8am to 4pm.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

- Diligent and able to work on own initiative

- Auditing Qualification
- Ideally qualified to NEBOSH level.
