Senior Health & Safety Manager Newcastle Permanent £60-70KThe opportunity to join a thriving Health & Safety team for a leading Port Operater in Newcastle. This is a strategic role, offering the opportunity to lead genuine cultural change in the organisation and exposure to a diverse high profile. You be will be ensuring that appropriate systems, processes and strategies are developed and implemented so the organisation is fully compliant with all relevant legislation. The Senior Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for: Working with the HSEQ Director to create a "gap analysis" for the business.Acting as the subject matter expert for all health and safety matters, identifying and responding to current legal and best practice requirements.Establishing the health and safety department's team and individual objectives and priorities to align with and support the port's objectives.Ensuring governance guidelines are developed, implemented and adhered to for all systems relating to health and safety. The Senior Health & Safety Manager will have: Varied high risk background in Health & Safety - manufacturing, logsitics or construction.COMAH or Process Safety experience desirable.Experience of development, implementation and continual improvement of occupational health strategies.NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
