Select Plant Hire are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor at our largest depot in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Select Plant Hire provides the most technically advanced cranes and hoist equipment, accommodation and services to the construction industry both in the UK and Australia.

What will the role look like?
To provide local advice and support necessary to assist managers and staff to fulfil their safety responsibilities to the high standards demanded by the Business.
To facilitate and coach operational teams on I&W and the respective engagement tools, which allow the team to engage effectively with the workforce.
To carry out relevant H&S assurance activities, providing confidence to the business that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes is being delivered.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
Qualification at level 3 (min)
Knowledge of previous H&S regulations around the plant hire industry, tower cranes, plant hire equipment
Technical knowledge in Occupational Health risk management and wellbeing
Technical knowledge in Environmental risk management
Technical knowledge in Safety risk management
Coaching / Training competence
Assurance / Audit / Investigation competence
