Senior H&S Advisor

We are looking for a Senior Health & SafetyAdvisor to join the Expanded project team on Old Oak Common – HS2.This role is to work as part of a team to provide experthealth and safety support to Expanded Ltd for the considerablesubstructure package, which includes the creation of an 850m longstation box, with a volume to fit 6,300 Routemaster buses inside ofit. These works include significant high-risk interfaces along withsafely delivering extensive reinforced concrete, excavation, liftingand backfilling activities for our Principal Contractor and Client, onone of London's most high-profile projects.Position summary:To act as anadvisor, facilitator and champion for Health and Safety deliverywithin their project/business/facility.Provide localadvice and support necessary to assist managers and staff to fulfiltheir health and safety responsibilities to the high standardsdemanded by the Business.Facilitate and coach operationalteams on I+W and the respective engagement tools, which allow the teamto engage effectively with the workforce.Carry outrelevant H&S assurance activities, providing confidence to thebusiness that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes isbeing deliveredWhat skills & experience arewe looking for? Qualification at level 4(min)Technical knowledge in Occupational Health RiskManagement and WellbeingTechnical knowledge in Safety RiskManagementCoaching / Training competenceAssurance / Audit / Investigation competence
