HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
To maximise sales revenue for guns, rifles and all Purdey products within the store whilst providing outstanding customer service at all times and acting as a Brand ambassador.
To grow sales by attracting new clients and developing the existing customer base
To take any opportunity to promote sales of new and second-hand ("Heritage") guns and rifles
To provide advice to customers on the repair, maintenance and storage of their guns
To promote and sell cartridges and gun related shooting clothing and accessories
Act as an ambassador for Purdey at private and public events both in the UK and overseas
Assist in the co-ordination of in-store promotional events
Maintaining a strict security on all gun displays, storage and transfer of firearms and ammunition whilst complying with the Company and UK firearms legislation
To present the "face of Purdey" at Audley House in a consistent manner and deliver the "Purdey Experience" to potential and existing Purdey clients
To ensure clients receive the highest level of service so that the Company's reputation as one of the world's leading gun makers is continually maintained
Key Accountabilities:
Work directly with the Director of Gun Sales to help achieve GST sales targets
Integral part of the Gun Sales Team to ensure all company systems and procedures with regards to the RFD and Salesforce are followed accurately
Act as a key point of contact to provide clients with clear and timely communication ranging from company history, gun craftsmanship to technical shooting questions
Work with Directors of Gun Sales and Marketing to improve the profile and accessibility of the Long Room, Audley House and further afield.
Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the Company's collection of shotguns & rifles
Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the UK firearms legislation
Day-to-Day Long Room operations to include client-greeting, taking in and releasing of guns
Participate in all audits and stock takes
Maintaining the Long Room and Gun Store are organised and presentable at all times ensuring no product is ever left unattended
Provide an outstanding, efficient and pro-active After Sales Service to the customer
Provide customers and prospective customers with knowledgeable advice
To develop and ensure good internal relationships with all other Purdey staff
To manage complaints effectively and efficiently
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Aptitude for gun sales and the ability and passion to drive sales
Ability to initiate contact and communication
Confident, articulate and a keen eye for detail
Diplomatic and courteous with a "can-do" approach
Self motivated, discreet, confidential and trustworthy
Co-operative and willing to get involved with a warm, friendly and engaging personality
Excellent customer service, presentation and communication skills
Commercially focused; understand financial figures to meet a budget
Motivated by being a team player and hard working with a common goal
Experience of working Sporting guns and rifles and an interest in country pursuits
Flexible with an appreciation for prompt communication to clients and colleagues
