Senior Golang Engineer - £120k + Hybrid remote + Benefits
Job Description:
We have partnered up with a global scale-up company in the FinTech space with some amazing funding! Our client is rapidly expanding their engineering teams this role has a huge scope to grow with the company even further.
Responsibilities:
Build, enhance, deploy, and support connectivity to external venues
Build services to meet new business needs using Golang
Product focused individual
Work with engineering and product teams alongside leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
Monitor and support all production system components
Development, estimation, design, development and testing of the feature
Requirements:
Deploying software on cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
Design and be comfortable building low latency systems
Testing distributed systems performances
Understanding of containerisation such as Docker
Messaging technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ
Trading, FinTech, Banking experience (bonus)
Designing customer-facing APIs
Execution, order, or portfolio management systems
Create monitoring dashboards using technologies such as the ELK stack, Prometheus, Datadog, InfluxDB, Grafana
