Senior Geotechnical Engineer

BAM Ritchies of BAM UK&I require a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the Geotechnical Engineering department of their business. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be planning and leading the safe, technically excellent delivery of geotechnical works on a varying range of projects across the UK. Your work environment

Your mission
Maintain open lines of communication with the Geotechnical team regarding the progress of the project and relevant developments
Supervision & management of the safe, efficient delivery of geotechnical works to an excellent technical standard
Supervise & mentor the project team as appropriate to develop others
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Client, the supply chain and third parties
Maintain high levels of personal safety and environmental standards, implementing safe systems of work on site
Monitoring of project costs & reporting change both internally and to the Client
Awareness of project and business goals and able to relay these to the project team to increase workforce engagement with business
Who are we looking for?
Required
Experience in delivering geotechnical works
competence at management and supervision of project teams
communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
