Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About the Role
I have been retained by an industry-leading engineering consultancy in order to find a geotechnical engineer at senior/associate level to join their team. They currently have a team of 2 who work closely alongside both the civils and structures team and have exciting growth plans for the future. The company has over 160 staff across the UK.
Your role will consist of:
Managing budgets, resources, and deadlines effectively
Undertaking various ground movement assessments
Reviewing site investigation data, preparing ground models, and deriving design parameters
Preparing and reviewing design drawings, geotechnical design calculations, and other technical documents
What They Are Looking For
They are looking for someone with:
An understanding of basic soil mechanics and engineering principles
Experience in numerical modelling of soil-structure interactions using PLAXIS 3D
Supervision and management of geotechnical works on site
Experience in geotechnical assessment and design
Commercial awareness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Use of OASYS Suites (PILE, ALP, ADSEC, PDISP, XDISP)
